Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Xparring mobile apps and this website (the "Service"), provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Xparring", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Xparring provides audio-guided training sessions for Boxing, Muay Thai and Kickboxing, including round and interval timers, configurable techniques and a training log. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Health and safety

Combat sports and high-intensity training involve a risk of injury. Xparring is a training aid. It is not medical advice and it does not replace a qualified coach or supervision.

• Consult a doctor before starting a new training programme, especially if you have a medical condition, injury or are pregnant.
• Train within your ability, warm up, use appropriate protective equipment and train in a safe space with enough room around you.
• Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or discomfort.
• When training with a partner, both of you are responsible for training safely and with control.

You use the Service at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for injuries or damage resulting from your training.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least [13 / 16] years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.

4. Subscriptions, free trial and billing

• Plans. Full access is available as a monthly subscription (€5) or a yearly subscription (€25). Prices may vary by country and include applicable taxes where required.
• Free trial. New subscribers may get a 5-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you will be charged.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Payments through app stores. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are also subject to their terms. You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Where local law gives you a right to a refund, that right is not affected.
• Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, resell or redistribute the Service or its content; reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including the apps, audio, coach voices, routines, text, design and the Xparring name and logo, belongs to Xparring or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own training while you comply with these Terms. Sessions and routines you create remain yours.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Background audio and lock-screen controls depend on your device and operating system settings.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Ending your account does not cancel an app store subscription; cancel it in your store settings.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Xparring is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated Terms apply.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts.
